VXplorer is an Android file manager that covers local file work, network servers, archives, encrypted storage, and media casting in a single app.
Primary controls sit at the bottom of the screen so it stays usable one-handed on large phones, and foldables and tablets get a dual-pane layout for working across two locations.
File management
Copy, move, delete, rename, share, create, and inspect properties, with multi-select and range select. Batch rename applies prefix, suffix, and numbering rules and previews the result before it commits.
The smart recycle bin remembers each file's original path and deletion time so you can restore it.
Network
Connect to SMB, FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and WebDAV servers and work with remote files as if they were local. WebDAV presets ship for Nextcloud/ownCloud, Yandex Disk, Mail.ru Cloud, Box, Koofr, and pCloud.
VXplorer can find SMB, FTP, and SFTP hosts on your network, and can also run an FTP server on the device so a PC can reach your phone's files.
Archives
Create ZIP, encrypted ZIP (AES-256), 7z, tar.gz, tar.zst, tar.xz, and tar.bz2. Extract ZIP, RAR, 7z, TAR variants, CAB, ISO, CPIO, AR, LZH/LHA, and XAR. Browse inside an archive like a folder and pull out only what you need.
Storage cleanup
Analyse usage per volume and surface large files, large folders, old installers, large videos, and empty folders. Duplicate detection groups by size first, then confirms with SHA-256 hashing.
VXplorer Vault
Move files into an app-private area encrypted with AES-GCM. The encryption key is managed by the Android Keystore and cannot leave the device. Biometric authentication can gate access to the Vault.
Media
Built-in image viewer, syntax-highlighting text editor, PDF viewer with password support and page export, and a Media3-based audio and video player. Cast to Chromecast, or pair with the companion TV app to play on a TV on the same network.
The built-in browser includes ad and pop-up blocking and media detection, and IPTV playlists (M3U) with EPG can be loaded to watch live channels.
