VXplorer TV is an Android TV player that pairs with the VXplorer file manager on your phone. No moving or converting files — watch on the TV on the same Wi-Fi.
How it works
- Open VXplorer TV on the television and leave it running.
- Open VXplorer on a phone connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Pick the TV from the list and play a video.
Where automatic discovery does not work, the QR code on the TV screen pairs the two directly.
Playback
Built on Media3 (ExoPlayer) with 4K playback, and subtitle size and position can be adjusted to the screen. Play, pause, 15-second skips, and seeking work from the phone and from the TV remote.
Nothing passes through a server
Video data goes straight from the phone to the television. It does not pass through a developer server; it stays inside your own network. There are no accounts, no ads, and no analytics.
