Controls and subtitles
What the phone and the TV remote can do.
From the phone
Play, pause, 15-second skips, and seeking are controlled from the phone, which also shows the current position and total length.
From the TV remote
The D-pad and select button do the same things, so you can put the phone down and still pause or resume.
Subtitles
Subtitle size and position can be changed. Viewing distance makes phone-sized text hard to read on a television, and some installations cut off the bottom of the screen.
During playback
The screen stays awake while playing (WAKE_LOCK). Stopping playback returns the television to its own power settings.
